Level 2 Award in Forest School

Course Description:
This qualification is designed to enable learners to develop an understanding of the principles and ethos of Forest School. It will prepare learners for further study and employment in the outdoors. It is designed to meet the needs of school and college staff, Youth Workers, Parent Helpers, Students and others in providing preparation for further development and study to becoming a Forest School Leader.

 

The training covers:

• 4 to 5 days of face-to-face training

• Portfolio development over 6-9 months; candidates will be given their Forest School Portfolio as well as the Unit Guidance by the Awarding Body and any relevant extra resources.

• Learners will receive their very own Forest School Starter Kit worth over £150

• £50 voucher to go toward Blue Sky Learning Outdoor/Forest School First Aid Course.

• Ongoing Tutor support via our dedicated facebook group, whatsapp, email and phone call.

• Optional zoom calls for those who wish to jump on as a cohort and discuss any portfolio related and general Forest School Chit Chat.

• Ongoing CPD days available at reduced Blue Sky Learning trainee rate.
